Community Updates

ARB reminder

The Architectural Review Board (ARB) would like to encourage all members to email or call the ARB Office ([email protected] or 843.836.7497) for guidance, suggestions and appropriate application forms before considering any exterior project.

We highly recommend a brief preliminary conversation before finalizing any plans or spending design funds—especially for unique projects or those that may require a variance from the ARB Design Guidelines. This early discussion can help prevent avoidable project delays and unexpected expenses.

USTA Women's Combo Tennis Team

A USTA Women's 40+ 6.5 (3.5, 3.0) Combo Tennis team is forming:

The matches will be on Saturdays with the season running September-November. If you're USTA rated at 3.5 or 3.0, are a HL resident and interested in joining the team please reach out to Mary W. at 661.644.0396 for more information.

Stock The Van

Friends, Neighbors, HL Community:

With support from the HLCA, a group of Hampton Lake resident volunteers at Bluffton Self Help will be hosting a “STOCK THE VAN” event on Saturday, May 2nd, from 9am to 2pm at the Parkside parking lot in front of the Barn. This day at HL also features the Annual Car Show, and Pickleball and Bocce matches. All HL members, Car Show participants, sports players, and spectators of these events are encouraged to bring a non-perishable, non-expired food(s) donation from the “MOST NEEDED ITEMS" list in support of Bluffton Self Help. A very worthy non-profit that supports our Lowcountry neighbors in need.

Pool Rules Reminder

As we head into pool season, we’d like to share a quick reminder of our pool guidelines to help keep everyone safe and ensure an enjoyable experience for all:

Guests must be accompanied at all times—no unaccompanied guests permitted.
For swimmers, only pool noodles and pool noodle slings are allowed.
Flotation devices such as life jackets, arm sleeves, and floats up to 30” x 30” are permitted for non-swimmers, including infants.
Other items such as large floats, beach balls, rings, and pool toys are not permitted unless part of an organized activity approved by Management.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and relaxing environment for everyone at the pool!
