Dear Hampton Lake Owners,
As we look back on 2025, we are proud to share a year filled with meaningful progress, thoughtful improvements, and memorable moments across our community. Thanks to the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and engaged membership, Hampton Lake continued to grow not just in offerings—but in connection, service, and shared experiences. Below is a snapshot of the accomplishments made by each department that helped make 2025 such a successful year.
General Administration
G&A focused on long-term vision, governance, and organizational strength. Key initiatives included Project Nexus, renovating the Porch, Fish Tales, and Tackle Box at Lakeview, and creating a new Board of Directors Manual, and implementing a Board of Directors meeting portal. Committees were reorganized, and a dedicated page on the member website improved transparency. The Hampton Lake Tomorrow team finalized a Strategic Plan with input from over 1,500 members via surveys, focus groups, and a SWOT analysis. Additionally, we launched long-range capital planning, updated the organizational chart, and strengthened the executive team to support continued growth.
Human Resources
HR successfully implemented Paycom, centralizing payroll, recruiting, and performance management. Communication between managers and employees was improved, and performance tracking was enhanced with a new interactive tool. Recruiting was streamlined through Paycom’s applicant tracking system combined with hands-on support, and benefits administration was simplified for 2026 via Employee Navigator, enabling digital enrollment and easy access to benefit information.
Wellness & Recreation
This year brought strong growth and expanded programming, including significantly increased personal trainings, the successful hiring and onboarding of new operations and fitness managers, and the offering of 42 fitness classes per week. A new pool check-in protocol using the HL App was also implemented to improve the member experience and operations.
Food & Beverage
2025 was a year of revitalization and expansion across our dining venues. Highlights included the reopening of Crystal Lake, new kitchen equipment and coffee systems, expanded menus and dessert offerings, live weekend music throughout the summer, enhanced AV systems, and the launch of the Hampton Lake App reservation system. We also welcomed a new Executive Chef, promoted key staff, introduced new wine and cocktail lists, added lawn games and member socials, and completed a community-wide deep clean with a new annual cleaning schedule.
Events
From beloved traditions to exciting new additions, 2025 was packed with community-building events. Signature highlights included seasonal music series, expanded holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day), the record-breaking Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, Oktoberfest, Wine Dinners, Movie Nights, and patriotic celebrations honoring Flag Day and Veterans Day. New events such as the Cardboard Boat Races and expanded family and pet-friendly programming brought creativity, fun, and strong participation across all ages.
Community Services & Security
Major accomplishments included streamlining Architectural Review Board (ARB) processes and eliminating a long-standing backlog, updating ARB guidelines, improving perimeter fencing and community landscaping, completing large-scale drainage projects, transitioning security vendors, implementing the speed camera program, and advancing RFID technology to improve gate access efficiency for residents and vendors.
Membership Department
The Membership team focused on strengthening relationships and improving the resident experience from day one. Key initiatives included enhanced onboarding with personalized outreach, the creation of a comprehensive New Member Manual, development of a Prospective Member Info Packet, expanded support for member-run clubs, and the launch of a New Member Social—refined into a quarterly gathering to better align with move-in timelines.
Communications
To keep members better informed and connected, 2025 saw the launch of the Hampton Lake App, redesigned email templates, push notifications, a streamlined weekly newsletter, timely restaurant communications, and the introduction of the Happenings video series. A centralized calendar system and Annual “Save the Dates” Calendar further improved communication and planning across the community.
Boathouse
The Boathouse expanded offerings with the acquisition of a new boat, added kayaks, the launch of the Boat Club, guided tours, youth fishing tournaments, and fun new traditions like Donut and Cookie Days. The Village Market continued to grow, and the team supported several major community events throughout the year.
Facilities Maintenance
Since the arrival of new leadership, the Facilities team has made visible upgrades across the property, including improved janitorial at a more competitive price, new uniforms and signage, lighting improvements, refreshed bathrooms, equipment upgrades, painting and repairs, and enhancements to recreational areas—helping Hampton Lake look and function at its best.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to these accomplishments—our staff, volunteers, clubs, and engaged homeowners. Together, these efforts reflect our shared commitment to making Hampton Lake an exceptional place to live. We look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
Best,
Hampton Lake Community Association Management Team
